When studying classical music at the age of 12, Ladybelle would often find herself in trouble for spending her time writing songs rather than practicing.

Not long after this, Ladybelle discovered jazz…

Today Ladybelle is writing original jazz tunes, accompanied by herself on guitar, Tim McArtney on Double Bass, Karl Deitz on Cornet and Piano, and Chris Fields on Drums.  The Quartet  also perform a wide range of jazz standards.

Ladybelle has worked with several leading jazz musicians and has performed for many years at establishments throughout Sydney.

Following the development of The Ladybelle Quartet, the band have been enjoying increasing success throughout 2006 and 2007 including performances at The Basement, Opera Bar, The Vanguard, The Arthouse, Marble Bar, The Rocks Markets, Surry Hills and Glebe Festivals...More...
