Chris Fields is a third generation drummer/percussionist beginning his training at the age of 11 and his professional career at 15.  Chris plays drums, tabla, and afro-cuban percussion having studied with his father Jerry Fields and Pt. Ram Chandra Suman.  Chris has supported such artists as Shirley Jones, Duke Daniels (The Platters), Denny Brunk (Stan Kenton) and many others.  Chris was also an original member of the Latin Fusion groups Vecinos Del Mundo & Mandorico and has played throughout the USA and Carribean.  Since moving to Sydney Chris has performed with many leading musicians and we were lucky to meet him in 2005 when he became a one of the original members of Ladybelle’s band.  He is still with us today he also continues his studies of drumming and percussion in the many genres of music he is passionate about.
