Ladybelle can provide a jazz trio, quartet or bigger band for wedding music in Sydney and beyond.  She has performed wedding music at locations such as Silos Winery at Bega Valley, the Beach-House Wedding Venue at Nielson Park in Vaucluse and The historic Mint in Macquarie St, Sydney.  Following her band’s performance at The Mint the groom stated “Thanks for a great night last weekend and for your fantastic music, everyone commented how sublime it was”.

Her wedding music repertoire consists of tunes such as – All of Me, Ain’t No Sunshine, Autumn Leaves, Blue Bossa, Caravan, Cheek To Cheek, Dream a Little Dream, Fever, Gimme One Reason, Love Me Or Leave Me, Love Shack, Moondance, My Favourite Things, Never Ever  by All Saints, Route 66 and Aretha Franklin’s Think… to name a few.

Ladybelle is also happy to discuss with you the possibility of arranging an existing song especially for your event.  At one wedding she re-wrote a jazz classic especially for the couple and sang it solo on guitar as the bride walked down the aisle.  She also recorded a version of this song on CD for the couple.

Ladybelle also has a songwriting service where she will NOT write a song for you, she will write a brand new song WITH you about a special person or subject.  This song can also be performed live at your wedding.  Please go to the Composer page for more.

In addition to her regular band members Ladybelle has worked with many other leading Sydney jazz musicians including –

  • Phil Slater  – Sydney’s best trumpet player
  • Brett Hirst – double bass player who performs with Lior and Vince Jones
  • Nick Bowd – saxophone and clarinet player in many leading Sydney jazz ensembles
  • Greg Coffin – award winning keyboard player
  • Mark Szeto – ex. Monsieur Camembert double bass player

Ladybelle will put together a wedding music band for you consisting of musicians of this high calibre.

The fees vary for wedding music performances depending on how many hours, how many musicians and travel time.

Ladybelle has high quality sound equipment and the band is fully self-contained.  All you need to supply is the power point.
